Tseri, Nicosia, Cyprus
The basic idea of the house is the practical and visual integration of the indoor spaces with the outdoor gardens. Due to the special shape of the plot, the house has been placed on the northern border with a southern orientation. The openings around the house allow, depending on the time, the management of natural light and ventilation in the premises. External sun protection systems also contribute to lighting management. An important element of the house is the inner patio with the opening glass roof which allows the creation of an indoor garden but also natural ventilation, especially in the summer months. The distance of the bedrooms from the main part of the courtyard was the reason for the creation of a large garden on the first floor.
