House 3510
Aglantzia, Nicosia, Cyprus
The main feature in the design approach of this project was the simplicity of the spaces which should be reflected in the facades of the house. The linear placement of all areas of the house on the ground floor allows unobstructed access to the main garden. The central large skylight allows the diffusion of natural light in all areas of both levels. An important element of bioclimatic architecture is the placement on the roof of the bedroom openings that channel the western air into the space. The main materials of the house are limited to coated white surfaces and visible concrete.
