Residence Award

GDM architecture is proud to have won an award at the International Property Awards for its Paramount Residence project. GDM architecture competed against other architecture professionals across Europe to be awarded in the Best Single Residence category.

The International Property Awards were established in 1993 and are judged by an independent panel of 100 industry experts, with judging focusing on architectural design, service, originality, commitment to sustainability and environment. This year The European Property Awards, which are recognized worldwide, were held in London to honor the best in the industry for 2020-2021.

Paramount House

Located only one kilometer away from the sea, amazing uninterrupted views make this property a one-of-a-kind find in Cyprus. Fully integrated into the slope of a mountain through sculpted design, the building is divided into different levels, all of which feature the city’s coastal front. The design of the outer shell of the house is done in the simplest way, with large glass surfaces around the perimeter to unify the spaces with the natural environment.

Further simplicity in the design approach and construction of the house is attributed through the choice of materials and decoration, such as stone, marble and wood. Sustainability is reflected through the use of large cantilevers and skylights.

Website Award
