House 8620

Tseri, Nicosia, Cyprus

A basic requirement in the design of the house was the creation of comfortable interiors that have an organic connection with the yard leaving the maximum possible free space. We proposed the creation of two parallel horizontal building volumes which are separated horizontally from the cantilevers that offer sun protection on the ground floor. The first floor is lined externally with vertical aluminum elements which are converted into opening elements where there are windows. The first floor shade system extends to an open space that is on topo of the ground floor, creating a private terrace with provision for the extension of the first floor in case it is needed by the owners.
