Haus Residences
Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus
Haus residences exudes a serene and refined architectural language, elegantly spread across two floors. Within its walls, the complex is home to six apartments, each crafted to embody the essence of modern living. The design integrates large, vertical windows that allow natural light to permeate the interiors, establishing a warm and inviting ambiance.
The exterior of the complex is characterized by a measured balance between solid and void, with the facade articulated by vertical metal beams that provide both privacy and a unique visual rhythm. These elements, along with the strategic placement of windows, create a dance of light and shadow that evolves throughout the day.
Materially, the building presents a palette that speaks of sophistication and durability. The dominant use of a muted, monochromatic scheme enhances the textural interplay between the sleek metal elements and the more tactile, plastered surfaces.
Greenery plays a subtle yet significant role in the complex’s design, with pockets of foliage emerging from the roof. These touches of nature not only soften the architectural lines but also contribute to the ecological footprint of the building, offering a visual reprieve in the urban landscape.
Inside, the living spaces are designed to foster a sense of tranquility and privacy. The thoughtful placement of operable panels and fixed glass ensures that each apartment is a haven of light and air.
