House 12421
Dromolaxia, Larnaca, Cyprus
This project is showcasing a bold interplay of volume, light, and texture. Its facade is a symphony of contrasting materials, with wood paneling that adds warmth against the cool, sleek glass and metal elements. The structure’s flat, clean roof lines and cubic forms make a definitive statement of contemporary luxury.
The design features an open-plan concept, enhancing the sense of spaciousness. The expansive glass walls allow for an uninterrupted view of the interior, revealing a staircase that doubles as a sculptural element, adding to the visual interest of the space. This transparency creates a dialogue between the inside and the outside, blurring the boundaries and allowing the environment to flow through the living areas.
The interior promises a continuation of the exterior’s minimalist approach, with what appears to be a palette of neutral tones and high-end finishes. The strategic placement of lighting, both inside and out, further defines the architectural contours and adds depth to the structure after sundown.
Outside, the pool area is designed not just for function but also as an aesthetic focal point, its still waters reflecting the building’s image and the ambient lighting. The inclusion of wooden decks and minimalist landscaping complements the building’s geometry, providing both utility and a visual anchor.
This House represents a seamless fusion of form and function, an abode crafted with meticulous attention to detail, providing both aesthetic pleasure and practicality in its modern design.
