Mykonos Villas
Mykonos, Greece
Perched on the serene landscape of Mykonos, these villas is a contemporary homage to the classic Mediterranean ethos of design. Embracing the Grecian penchant for synergy between structure and scenery, the residence is a testament to the timeless beauty of minimalist architecture infused with luxurious details.
The structure’s facade is adorned with the iconic Cycladic white, a reflective canvas against the vibrant Grecian sky. Locally sourced stone forms retaining walls and elegant pathways, speaking to the island’s rugged charm. The integration of wood in pergolas and lounging decks adds a tactile warmth, inviting a touch of nature into the geometric precision of the build.
The villas boasts clean lines and cubic forms, characteristic of the region’s architectural heritage, yet reinterpreted with a sleek, modernist eye. The design revolves around the concept of fluidity, with large, retractable glass panels that dissolve the barriers between the interior sanctuary and the sun-soaked exteriors.
Central to the villa’s alfresco allure is the luminescent infinity pool, a tranquil mirror to both the expansive sky above and the meticulous landscaping around.
